Hysterectomy

A hysterectomy may be unnecessary. Some experts believe hysterectomies are a form of castration and that aside from causing sexual dysfunction, hysterectomy can cause bladder infections, heart disease, osteoporosis, organ prolapse, weight gain, emotional distress, etc.

Hysterectomies are a proverbial "cash cow" for doctors - the annual price tag is more than $5 billion. There are over 600,000 hysterectomies performed annually in America -- twice the European rate!

In some states (for example see, New York Public Health Law Article 24-E) the law requires that doctors provide "each person under such physician's care, when a hysterectomy is under consideration" with a summary which describes the medical diagnoses that are commonly treated with a hysterectomy, the various hysterectomy procedures, and treatment alternatives to the diagnoses commonly treated with hysterectomy.

If you believe you've had an unnecessary hysterectomy, Call us, we can help.

"An estimated 76% of women who are hysterectomized are castrated at the same time."

"It is no secret that hysterectomy is one of the most-performed major surgeries in the country and is also one of the least necessary and most damaging. It is also no secret that there is widespread hysterectomy-related abuse by gynecologists and that the hospitals, legislators and other authorities who could rein in the maltreatment of women have failed to do so."

Change the law and "...sanction doctors
who perform unwarranted and unconsented hysterectomies.
This abuse has inflicted immeasurable pain and suffering
on millions of women and everyone who cares for them.
It will no longer be tolerated.
